Just in off the cheese event wire! We're taking our cheese on
the road to the Kokua Festival at the MACC April 19th, and the main
performer is Jack Johnson. This is the third year for the festival where
the main goal is environmental awareness. The MACC is responsible for all
the "green" paper products that are TOTALLY environmentally
friendly. The show will be great and exciting food from Who Cut the Cheese
will be there to compliment it. Look for something new! Menu is not finalized
at "press time!” If you want more information on the event go to
kokuafestival.com. This is a first time offering from us. Pascal Beillvaire
is a famous fermier (one who specializes in buying and aging farmstead
and artisinal cheeses). He owns several cheese shops in the greater Paris area, and he is sharing some of his finds with us! A large amount of the cheeses are
raw milk, but still must meet the 60-day aging requirement put forth by the
USDA. There will be an exciting array of goat and sheep milk cheese, as
well as some friendly cow’s milk cheese. As always, we don't know what will
actually reach us, so you'll just have to check in with us to see what
reaches our happy little shop! Arrival date is approximately the third week
of April.
