Love is in the Air!!
Think beyond the champagne bottle this Valentine's Day! At last month's tasting, we featured Lambic Beers from Belgium by Lindeman's. These fun, fruity, and fizzy beers will make a great gift for your sweetheart! Wednesday, February 14th: Don't be a stupid cupid! Come on down to your Valentine's headquarters at Who Cut the Cheese, where we have cheese, champagne, and chocolates to make you look good! We also have adorable gift packs of mini champagnes, mini Chambord liqueur, and raspberry white chocolate truffle bar. Very romantic! Other cheesy ideas for Valentine's Day...Le Demon du Midi, an ooey gooey little stinker wrapped in a red wrapper with the "little devil" sure to create sparks. Creamy, dreamy, and oh so sexy! Romancing with the Cheese
![]() A while back, we had one of our quarterly tastings which was themed "Romancing the Cheese." Well, this year there's a story we'd like to share regarding a very thoughtful and romantic marriage proposal. Four cheese, four half bottles of fine wines, a romantic beach in Hana, a lot of love, and a proposal...what do you think she said? Yes, of course! In this case we paired each cheese with the wines already selected. We instructed the order in which the cheeses should go, and how to arrange them on the cheese board; all the additional services we do here at the shop, and we sent him on his way. The results...priceless...a wedding in April 2008. CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS AND NATALIE!!! Cheesy Happenings!
Friday February 23rd, 5pm-6:30pm...Zinfest at Tip-ups (formerly known as Bocalino's) Our monthly 5 cheese/ 5wines at 5! Featuring zinfandels from Graziano, Storybook, Amano, Spann, and Hartford. Friday March 14th we will be at the MACC for the Foreigner concert!!! Mark your calendars. It's going to be a rockin' good time! We will have grilled eggplant and fresh chevre paninis! |
