You may have seen the companion Chardonnay on our shelves but we are now bringing in the ‘08 Merlot. We love this wine, with it’s big burst in your mouth feel and nice peppery spice. It's full of ripe blackberry and plum and pairs well with a variety of meals. It is a great Merlot at a great value, only $18.99! New Face in the Case
Veneto d'Estate, which means "Summer wind" is a fairly new cow's milk cheese from Italy which only started being produced a little over 10 years ago. The wheels are aged under a blanket of hay. This procedure was supposedly invented by the cheesemaker, Antonio Carpenedo, when he and his wife were driving along a country road and found themselves following a hay wagon. They loved the sweet grassy smell so much they bought some hay and started experimenting with their cheese. It's a nice robust cheese with a distinct grassy, herbaceous aroma!

Kilahuea Kine Gourmet Salt This is a product of Pono Kai Farms, located on the Big Island in beautiful Kapoho. This salt consists of dried Hawaiian chile peppers which are grown on property as well as a few other spice ingredients. They have been perfecting this blend for the last couple years and now are fully satisfied with the product. This salt is truly amazing; we have tested it on many things from fish and grilled meats to fresh vegetables, and hear it is excellent in dips and soups! The packaging is great, the plastic shaker is the perfect size to take to a barbeque, to the beach, or just to have on your shelf at home. The best part is it's guaranteed not to clump, ever!
