WHAT’S GOING ON:
- Saturday, Nov. 12th
Keller Williams and Who Cut the Cheese are hosting a sunset cheese
and wine cruise out of Maalaea Harbor from 4:30-6:00 PM. Proceeds will
help unfortunate families from New Orleans. There are still a few seats
left, only $30.00. Call 874.3930 to reserve your spot.
- Nov. 16th
– The 25th Anniversary of the Big Cheese’s 21st
birthday!!!
- Thursday, Nov. 17th
the famous harvest celebration wine arrives! Let’s celebrate with the rest
of the world with Beaujolais Nouveau by Debeouf. One of our favorite
pairings with this wine is the truffle cheese from Italy, Sottocenere.
This pairing is featured for $19.95.
- Sunday, Dec. 4th
from 1-3 PM is our quarterly cheese and wine event. “Spain Revisited” will
be hosted at the Greek Bistro. 5 cheeses and 5 wines will be featured -
all inclusive for $65.00. We have seats available, and are limited to 25
people. Don’t miss out on the telling of the grand Spanish adventures as
experienced by the Big Cheese on her recent trip!
WHO’S NEW IN THE DELI CASE:
Come
revisit a couple of blues who haven’t been around for a while…
- We had to bring back
the delicious blue beauty, Valdeon…inspired by visiting the Valdeon Valley
in northern Asturias. Made from goat and cow’s milk, wrapped in grape
leaves and aged in caves—definitely a must revisit! $10/half pound.
- Back by popular
demand for the holidays is Shropshire Blue Stilton. This vibrant yellow
blue-veined delectable is quite mellow as well as yellow! Loves to hook up
with the mango chutney—deeelicious! $11/half pound.
- King’s Island Dairy
from Australia—Bleu Brie—you’ll never do a Cambanzola again! $11/half
pound.
